総合研究大学院大学・「科学と社会」分野助教。京都大学総合人間学部を卒業。文系と理系の間をさまよっていたら「科学技術の人類学」と出会う。大阪大学で博士号を取得し、アムステルダム大学、カリフォルニア大学客員研究員、大阪大学助教を経て現職。第五回育志賞や柿内賢信記念賞奨励賞などを受賞。

篠原雅武 Masatake Shinohara

1975年生まれ。京都大学大学院総合生存学館（思修館）特定准教授。主な関心領域は、現代哲学、環境人文学、建築、現代アート。主な著書として、『複数性のエコロジー』（以文社、2016年）、『人新世の哲学』（人文書院、2018年）、『「人間以後」の哲学』（講談社選書メチエ、2020年）。主な翻訳書として『社会の新たな哲学』（マヌエル・デランダ著、人文書院、2015年）、『自然なきエコロジー』（ティモシー・モートン著、以文社、2018年）。また2016年には、ヴェネチア・ビエンナーレ国際建築展の日本パビリオンで共同キュレーターも務める。

Shinohara Masatake was born in 1975 in Kanagawa Prefecture. Currently, he is associate professor at Kyoto University, with a primary focus on contemporary philosophy, environmental humanities, architecture, and art. In 2016, he served as co-curator of the Japan Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale.

結城正美　Masami Yuki

Yuki Masami (her name follows the Japanese convention in which the family name precedes the given name) is Professor of English (American Literature, Literature and Environment) at Aoyama Gakuin University. In research and teaching, Yuki has focused on such topics as food in a toxic age, biocultural diversity, literary soundscape, and a discourse of survival in the Anthropocene.

Yuki’s books include Foodscapes of Contemporary Japanese Women Writers (translated by Michael Berman, Palgrave Macmillan, 2015; Japanese original in 2012), Ecocriticism in Japan (co-edited with Hisaaki Wake and Keijiro Suga, Lexington Books, 2017), and Ishimure Michiko’s Writing in Ecocritical Perspective: Between Sea and Sky (co-edited with Bruce Allen, Lexington Books, 2016). She has published numerous articles and book chapters including those which appear in ISLE: Interdisciplinary Studies in Literature and Environment, The Routledge Companion to the Environmental Humanities (edited by Ursula Heise, Jon Christensen, and Michelle Niemann, Routledge, 2017), A Global History of Literature and the Environment (edited by John Parham and Louise Westling, Cambridge University Press, 2017), The Routledge Handbook of Ecocriticism and Environmental Communication (edited by Scott Slovic, Swarnalatha Rangarajan, Vidya Sarveswaran, Routledge, 2019). 中野佳裕 Yoshihiro Nakano

研究者。PhD。専門は社会哲学、開発学、平和研究。社会発展のパラダイムを問いなおし、持続可能な未来社会を構想するコミュニティ・デザイン理論の研究を行っている。2011年4月から2018年3月まで国際基督教大学社会科学研究所（ICU SSRI）の助手・研究員として勤務。明治学院大学国際平和研究所（PRIME）研究員、上智大学グローバルコンサーン研究所（ＩＧＣ）客員所員も兼任。2018年4月より早稲田大学地域・地域間研究機構（ＯＲＩＳ）次席研究員／研究院講師。
これまで国際基督教大学、立命館大学、フェリス女学院大学、恵泉女学園大学などで、平和学、開発学、国際政治経済学分野の講義を担当。フランスのNGO「経済活動に関する政治学的・倫理学的研究」（PEKEA）の会員。NPO法人アジア太平洋資料センター（PARC）の理事および企画運営委員、アドヴァイザリー委員を歴任。PARC自由学校の講師もつとめる。
2019年からは、故郷の環境音を使って音楽制作活動も行っている。

Yoshihiro Nakano is a Junior Researcher/ Assistant Professor at Organization for Regional and Inter-regional Studies (ORIS), Waseda University (Tokyo, Japan). His areas of specialisation are social philosophy and sociology of globalisation and development.  Dr. Nakano’s research consists of two parts: (1) critical studies of the global society of consumers and (2) global intellectual history of anti-productivist social theories. He is an instigator of degrowth and convivialism in Japan and publishes the Japanese translation of French, Spanish, Italian and English literature in the related field.

津田和俊　Kazutoshi Tsuda

京都工芸繊維大学 デザイン・建築学系 講師、山口情報芸術センター [YCAM] 専門委員（主任研究員）。2008年9月、千葉大学大学院自然科学研究科多様性科学専攻博士後期課程修了、博士（工学）。2008年11月から大阪大学大学院工学研究科特任研究員、2011年から大阪大学創造工学センター助教として、工学設計や適正技術の教育プログラムや、資源循環やサステイナビリティに関する研究に取り組む。2010年からファブラボのネットワークに参加、2013年にはその拠点のひとつとしてファブラボ北加賀屋（大阪市）を共同設立。2014年からYCAMのコラボレーターとなり、2016年から研究員としてYCAMバイオ・リサーチを主に担当。2020年2月から京都工芸繊維大学の講師に着任。共著に『FABに何が可能か「つくりながら生きる」21世紀の野生の思考』（フィルムアート社）、監訳に『バイオビルダー 合成生物学をはじめよう』（オライリージャパン）、編著に『SPECULATIONS 人間中心主義のデザインをこえて』（ビー・エヌ・エヌ新社）など。

Currently, I am Junior Associate Professor at the Kyoto Institute of Technology and also work as a researcher at the Yamaguchi Center for Arts and Media [YCAM], one of the international hubs of new media art and technology. I received a Ph.D. in Engineering from Division of Diversity and Fractal Science, Graduate School of Science and Technology, Chiba University, Japan. As a Specially Appointed Researcher at Graduate School of Engineering, Osaka University from 2008 and as an Assistant Professor at Creative Design Studio on Technology, Osaka University from 2011, I have implemented an educational program on engineering design and appropriate technology and also have been engaged in research on resource circulation and sustainability. I joined the FabLab Network from 2010 and co-founded FabLab Kitakagaya (Osaka, Japan) as one of its bases in 2013. I became a collaborator of YCAM since 2014, and since 2016 I am mainly in charge of YCAM Bio Research.

箭内匡 Tadashi Yanai

東京大学で文化人類学を学び（1983〜1993年）、ペルーやチリ、スペイン等で民族誌的フィールドワークを行う。博士論文では、南米チリの先住民マプーチェの口頭性や夢、社会生活とその現代的変容を扱った（東京大学、1995年）。哲学と映画についても深い関心がある（1995〜1998年にかけてバルセロナ大学で哲学を学んだ）。2018年の著作『イメージの人類学』では、人類学的営みから文化と社会の概念を「引き算」しつつ、それをイメージについての／による営みとして根底から再構想することを提案するとともに、他方で、それがラトゥール、デスコラ、ヴィヴェイロス・デ・カストロらの「自然の人類学」を継承しつつ、新たな方向に向けていく試みでもあることを論じた。現在は植物と南米先住民の関係について掘り下げたいと思っている。以上の流れと密接に関連する編著・共編著として、『映画的思考の冒険』(2006)、『映像人類学（シネアンスロポロジー）』(2014)、『アフェクトゥス−生の外側に触れる』がある。

I studied cultural anthropology at the University of Tokyo (1983-1993), and I have conducted ethnographic fieldworks notably in Peru, Chile and Spain. My PhD thesis was about orality, dreams, social life and its contemporary transformation among the Mapuche of Chile (1995, University of Tokyo). I have also been deeply interested in philosophy and cinema (I spent a couple of years studying philosophy at the University of Barcelona). In my book in 2018 (An Anthropology of Images, in Japanese), I proposed to “subtract” culture and society from anthropology and to re-imagine it, from its very base, as a practice about/by images; and I argued that this can be an interesting way to extend the anthropology of nature developed by Latour, Descola, Viveiros de Castro and others. I am currently interested to reflect on the relationship between the indigenous peoples and the plants in South America. I have edited or co-edited some books closely related with the line of thought above, such as: The adventure of cinematographic thinking (2006), Ciné-anthropology (2014), and Affectus: Touching the outside of life (2020).

森田敦郎　Atsuro Morita

研究代表者。大阪大学、「科学技術と文化」分野教授。東京大学教育学部・教育学研究科（修士課程）で、ワークプレイス・スタディーズと状況的認知を学び、その後同大学の総合文化研究科で人類学を学ぶ。タイにおける土着の機械工業について研究し、2012年に『野生のエンジニアリング』を出版。その後は、大規模な技術システムであるインフラストラクチャーにおける人間、動植物、テクノロジー、地球物理学的プロセスの絡み合いを研究する。2018年から、気候変動に対応してインフラストラクチャーを作り直そうとする草の根の運動に関心と関わりを持ち、本プロジェクトを立案した。

Atsuro Morita is Professor of Science, Technology and Culture at Osaka University. As an anthropologist by training He has been exploring infrastructures as entanglements of human practices and their multispecies companions (tools, machines, animals, plants and landforms). Since 2018, as the climate crisis looms large, he decided to follow and join grassroots activism to remake infrastructures.

田辺明生　Akio Tanabe

東京大学大学院総合文化研究科教授。専門は人類学と南アジア地域研究。主にインドの歴史、文化、社会、政治、経済をテーマとしてきた。インド・オリッサ地方での歴史人類学的調査は『カーストと平等性—インド社会の歴史人類学』（2010年）として出版。共同研究としてはグローバルCOE「生存基盤持続型の発展を目指す地域研究拠点」において、イニシアティブ4「地域の知的潜在力研究」のリーダーを担う。その成果は『地球圏・生命圏・人間圏—持続型生存基盤とは何か』（2010年）および『歴史のなかの熱帯生存圏—温帯パラダイムを超えて』（2012年）を共編者として出版。続いて2010年から2015年には、人間文化研究機構「現代インド地域研究事業」の総括責任者を担い、〈シリーズ現代インド〉全6巻を刊行する。さらにRoutledge社のシリーズ・エディターのひとりとしてNew Horizons in South Asian Studiesを創刊、その第1巻Democratic Transformation and the Vernacular Public Arena in India（2014年）および第4巻Human and International Security in India（2015年）を共編者として出版。

Akio Tanabe is a Professor at the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and Director of the Centre for the South Asian Studies at the University of Tokyo. He specializes in anthropological and historical research of South Asia, with an emphasis on caste and religion; democratisation and social change; and South Asian paths of development. He acted as the Convener (2010-2015) of the National Institutes for Humanities project on “Contemporary India Area Studies” which is a collaborative research project based on a network of six centers in Japan. This project resulted in the publication of Contemporary India vol. 1-6 (Tokyo: University of Tokyo Press, 2015, in Japanese) as well as the launching of the series of New Horizons in South Asian Studies from Routledge, London. He has authored Caste and Equality in India: A Historical Anthropology of Diverse Society and Vernacular Democracy (London: Routledge, 2021), and co-edited Human and International Security in India (London: Routledge), Democratic Transformation and the Vernacular Public Arena in India (London: Routledge), The State in India: Past and Present (New Delhi: Oxford University Press), and Gender and Modernity: Perspectives from Asia and the Pacific (Kyoto: Kyoto University Press) among others. モハーチ・ゲルゲイ Gergely Mohacsi

大阪大学人間科学研究科に所属し、専門は医療人類学および科学技術社会論。これまでの研究では、慢性病（特に糖尿病）の治療を可能にする身体と医療技術との相互作用を民族誌的に検討し、日本を主な調査地として、病気の多様性を生きるという状況を描いてきました。近年、ベトナムと日本における生薬の栽培および研究開発の現場でのフィールドワークを中心に、病人と健常者の共生を促進する創薬の比較研究を進めています。そこで、一方では人新世を生きる我々を取り巻くいわゆる「実験社会」（experimental society）のあり方を科学技術人類学の視点から分析し、他方、「プラネタリーヘルス」（planetary health）という近年注目を集める観念を中心に、環境の持続性と人間の健康の両立に焦点を当てる環境衛生の草の根展開を検証しています。

I am an anthropologist affiliated with the School of Human Sciences at Osaka University, Japan. In broad terms, I am interested in the ecological impact of public health and new forms of knowledge practices emerging at the interface of drug development and planetary health. My former ethnographic work on patient activism in and around metabolic disorders in Japan has been published in journals such as the East Asian Science, Technology and Society (EASTS) or the Japanese Journal of Cultural Anthropology. In my current research, I investigate the co-constitution of things and values in the development and use of herbal medications and their implications for imagining alternative ways of doing public health in the Anthropocene. My ethnographic fieldwork in Western Japan and Northern Vietnam looks at the grassroots and participatory modes of environmental health to explore the “experimental society” we all live in. By highlighting the entanglement of different medical traditions in the process from growing plants to producing and metabolising new medications, my aim is to revisit the methodological possibilities and challenges of ethnographic comparison.

大村敬一　Keiichi Omura

文化人類学を専門とし、これまでにカナダ極北圏の先住狩猟・採集民であるイヌイトの調査・研究を行ってきた。イヌイトの間で日常的に展開されるマイクロな相互行為からイヌイト社会が物質的にも観念的にも生成・維持される過程に焦点をあてることで、イヌイトの社会性が維持されるメカニズムを探究するとともに、そのメカニズムを他の霊長類と比較することで人類社会の進化史的基盤を明らかにする研究をすすめてきた。

I specialize in cultural anthropology, having previously surveyed and researched the indigenous hunter-gatherer Inuit of the Canadian Arctic. Through a focus on the means by which Inuit societies are materially and conceptually formed and maintained, using micro-interactions developed in their daily lives, I have explored the mechanisms that maintain sociality among Inuit and conducted research to clarify the evolutionary foundation of human sociality through comparison of these mechanisms with other primates.

ケミクスィズ　アスル　Asli Kemiksiz

2020年に大阪大学人間科学研究科から博士号を取得。現在は同大学でポスドク研究員。テーマはロボット、人工知能といった非人間と社会の関係に科学技術の人類学からアプローチしてきた。現在は海洋生物に関する新たなトピックに着手し、本研究プロジェクトでは、人為的な要因による海洋の生物多様性の喪失とローカルな取り組みに着目する。また、スペキュラティブ・フィクションへも継続して関心を持ち、近年では国際的なプロジェクトであるFICTのオーガナイザーも務める。

Asli Kemiksiz is a post-doctoral researcher at Osaka University. Their research focuses on a variety of non-humans including robots, AI, and currently marine life. As part of PCLC, they are researching marine biodiversity loss due to anthropogenic causes and local efforts to counter it. Asli also has long been interested in speculative fiction and has been integrating methods of worldbuilding into their work for some years. They are currently organizing and leading the project FICT, a wide-spanning worldbuilding project imagining speculative worlds without the effects of European Colonialism.

神崎隼人 Hayato Kanzaki

現在大阪大学人間科学研究科博士後期課程に在籍。博士論文のプロジェクトでは、アマゾニアにおける／をめぐる環境政治をテーマに、民族誌的調査とデジタル人類学の手法を組み合わせている。2019年から2020年にかけてペルーでフィールドワークを実施し、インフラストラクチャー開発に抵抗する先住民のリーダーたちの実践に着目した。Covid-19の影響もあり、オンライン上での多様なアクターによるアマゾニアをめぐる環境政治的活動にも関心をもつ。本プロジェクトでは、上記のテーマから、下位セクションである存在論的政治や多元世界をテーマとした社会運動に関して貢献したいと考える。

Hayato Kanzaki is a doctoral student at Osaka University. His PhD research project is about the environmental politics in and around Amazonia from the perspective both of ethnography and of digital anthropology. He conducted his fieldwork in Peruvian Amazon between November 2019 and April 2020, during which he focused on the struggles of the indigenous leaders with with a mega-infrastructure project, particularly exploring what kind of new politics could emerge in reference to “cosmovisión”. Currently, as Covid-19 prohibits in person fieldwork, Kanzaki is diverting his investigation to online environmental politics around Amazonia, specifically observing the online presences and activities indigenous organizations, environmentalists, individuals, inter/national institutions, etc., as well as the alliances and disputes forming online. In the PCLC project, he has been contributing to the sub-section of ontological politics.

北川真紀　Maki Kitagawa

現在、東京大学大学院総合文化研究科博士課程在籍。専門は文化人類学。主な研究対象は、現代日本の動物感染症・鳥獣害対策、それに伴う狩猟の再編と、電気やガス、食のインフラ網（グリッド）から離れた「オフグリッド」の家庭生活。最近の論文に「コロナ危機下の生活「再編」をめぐるエスノグラフィーー移住・自給自足・オフグリッド」（『新型コロナウイルス感染症と人類学ーーパンデミックとともに考える』水声社）がある。PCLCのプロジェクトでは、オフグリッドを中心としたグラスルーツの実践の動態を明らかにすることで貢献することを目指す。

Maki Kitagawa is a doctoral student at the University of Tokyo. Her research focuses on two main topics, the first of which is the ways of life disconnected from large socio-technical networks of energy (off-grid life), and the second being the hunting and wildlife management in contemporary Japan. Her work relates these two topics in the context of the environmental crisis which plays a significant role on the current situation of both. She furthermore uses these fields to rethink the connections and disconnections between all living things, in the times of environmental crisis.

桜木真理子　Mariko Sakuragi

現在、大阪大学人間科学研究科博士後期課程３年生。
専門は医療人類学、STS。現在は日本・インドネシアにおける市民科学活動、特にDIYバイオ運動をテーマに研究を行なっており、バイオテクノロジーのDIYやツール等の共有・循環を通して生じる技術の翻訳と、人間・非人間の新たな結びつきに関心を抱いている。

Mariko Sakuragi is a doctoral student at Osaka University, focusing on medical anthropology and STS. Her doctoral project is about current citizen science movement in Japan and in Indonesia. Particularly, she examines the DIY biology movement, investigating the DIY practices regarding biotechnology and new understandings of technology by sharing and circulation of tools. Her interests also include the new human-nonhuman relationships forming by way of these movements.

サンピエール エミル Émile St-Pierre

現在大阪大学人間科学研究科博士後期課程に在籍。博士論文のプロジェクトでは、北海道の電力インフラストラクチャーに焦点を定めつつ、再生可能エネルギーが既存のエネルギーネットワークを補強したりあるいは作り変えたりするあり方を扱う。気候変動においては何がインフラストラクチャーとして振る舞うのか？誰がそのインフラストラクチャーを保持するのか？そこではどのような関係が作られあるいは作り変えられているのか？本プロジェクトにおいては、今現れつつある市民の手によるエネルギーへの取り組みやDIYの運動に着目することで貢献する。また、FICTのオーガナイザーも務めている。

Émile St-Pierre is doctoral student at Osaka University. His doctoral research concerns the infrastructural inversions taking place in Hokkaido’s electricity grid as renewable energy both reinforces and disrupts established energy networks. Key to these problems are fundamental questions about energy and infrastructure that have interdisciplinary significance: what acts as infrastructure in a changing climate? Who owns this infrastructure and what relations does it support and undermine? On this latter question, Émile collaborates with the PCLC project with a focus on emerging citizen-led energy initiatives and DIY energy experiments. He has also acted as a coordinator for the FICT project.

クラウセ・リウ・ニュラン Liv Nyland Krause

「リウ・ニュラン・クラウセ。現在は大阪大学に特任研究員として所属。テーマはイノベーションや企業家精神のなかでの「ビジネス・エコシステム」の考え方や新しいアプローチのあり方を研究している。これまでにフィールドワークを日本、デンマーク、そしてフランスで行い、イノベーションを起こすビジネス・エコシステムを創造するローカルな活動を、組織また地域を再活性化させるプロジェクトとして捉える研究を進めてきた。

Liv Nyland Krause is a specially appointed researcher at Osaka University. Her research focuses on ecological imaginaries and emergent approaches to innovation and entrepreneurship. She has done fieldwork in Japan, Denmark and France on local efforts to create innovation ecosystems as part of organizational and regional revitalization projects.
